The Hario V60 NEO ceramic dripper, officially the V60 Dripper NEO Ceramic, puts the NEO’s 72-rib design into unglazed white or gray ceramic. Hario announced it on October 6, 2026, and showed it for the first time at SCAJ 2026 in Tokyo. Hario Taiwan called it the stand’s main highlight.

What’s in the V60 NEO Ceramic

The NEO came out in September 2025 as Hario’s dripper for light-roast specialty coffee, in Tritan plastic. The ceramic version keeps its brewing design and changes the material:

  • The same 72 ribs. Fine spiral ribs line the wall and merge into nine at the bottom, a structure Hario has registered as a utility model. Hario says water drains evenly from the whole wall for a fast brew that tastes clean but still has body. It says the ceramic version reproduces this rib structure faithfully.

  • Unglazed finish. No glaze, so the outside has a dry, matte feel and the ribs cast fine shadows.

  • Two colors, two sizes. White with a white base, or gray with a black base. The base is silicone rubber. The 01 is for one or two cups and the 02 for up to four.

Price and availability

Hario’s suggested prices are ¥13,200 for the 01 and ¥16,500 for the 02, with tax. It’s made in Japan. Hario hasn’t given a release date, and the dripper isn’t among the SCAJ items on Hario’s web shop. Hario hasn’t said whether it will be sold outside Japan.

Our take

The Tritan NEO costs ¥1,980, so the ceramic one is almost seven times the price for the same brewing design. Ceramic holds heat differently from thin Tritan, which Hario chose to keep the brew from cooling, so it may not brew the same. The Tritan NEO’s body and base come apart to fit Hario’s Switch, and Hario hasn’t said whether the ceramic one does. It’s part of a busy SCAJ for Hario, alongside the Glass Rinse Assist.
